History of Harrison Muir
Harrison
Muir originally started in 1962 as a commercial painting company.
Over the last three decades, the company has become known and respected
in the industry as a leading industrial service contractor. The
evolvement of HM's operations has helped meet the specialized and
diverse needs of their clients. The assorted services provided by
Harrison Muir compliment protection of client assets.
HM management
is dedicated to providing traditional small business personalized
service accompanied with a large company workforce and equipment
resource strength. HM has extensive corporate experience, strength
and bonding capabilities.
The company's
long history of continued success can largely be attributed to both
its quality of workmanship and the integrity with which it deals
with clients, consultants, government officials, suppliers, workers
and the public.

Corporate Safety Strategy
Harrison
Muir wholly supports and actively participates in industry partnerships
for occupational health and safety compliance. HM maintains ongoing
relationships with numerous agencies re: safety consulting services;
health and safety assistance; return to work issues; and safety
training. HM abides by and strictly adheres to all governmental
regulations. Corporate safety policy is managed by setting standards,
communication of the standards and expectations, training of employees,
evaluation of policies yearly, acknowledgement of successes and
implementation of improvements.

has in place a Safety Incentive Award Program for all employees.

Workforce
Harrison
Muir employs a skilled workforce drawn from the International Brotherhood
of Painters and Allied Trades. Many of Harrison Muir's supervisors
and senior trades people have been employed with the company for
many years, ensuring that the company's workforce is well versed
in the expectations of management regarding safety, productivity
and a commitment to excellence.
The HM workforce enjoy continued skills development training which
is provided through participation in courses from: The Construction
Safety Association; The International Brotherhood of Painter and
Applied Trades Training Center; and other professional training
services.
